Tidy TownsTidy Towns 2010 the judging is over ....
 Skerries like all the towns entered for Tidy Towns must now await the results of the 2010 judges. The result will be announced on September the 13th ..... watch this space
Tidy Towns 2009 - Skerries does very well
Congratulations to the Skerries Tidy Towns Committee who had another fantastic result in 2009!
Not only did Skerries win the Gold medal, the county and the Regional award again. They also had great success in building the result and closing the gap on the winners quite significantly.
Note that since 2006 the gap between the winner mark and the Skerries mark has narrowed as follows:
2006 - 15 points
2007 and 2008 - 12 points 2009 - 8 points. We have halved the gap in three years!
Bring on 2010 ....
