Report from meeting between Bob Laird and Ernesting Woelger of the Skerries Community Association and Michael Power, Strategic Planning Manager for Iarnrod Eireann, on 3rd March, 2005

Some key points raised:

	No decision will be made on extra stock or upgrading of signalling until after the major announcement expected soon by Minister on long-term rail development in Dublin (expected to include the interoconnector tunnel)
	They are seriously looking at proper feeder bus services for Skerries and Rush/Lusk
	Weekend closures will continue until but not beyond 29th May
	They will provide more cycle parking at Skerries, and are now providing lock-up cycle storage in city centre
	Will examine our suggestions for schedule improvements with a view to incorporation in December 2005 timetable
	We stressed the importance of improvements in morning peak, and asked for an extra train between the 0739 and 0805, even if only to Connolly; also to fill the gap from 0709 to 0739.
