Revised New Housing Development behind Hillside – Make your views known!
 
Please be aware 600 dwellings are proposed for the area bounded by the railway line, Hillside Estate, Cabra Hill and the Golf Club Road. This is the subject of a draft local area plan by Fingal County Council.   This proposed development has huge implications for Skerries.  

A new road is proposed to join the main road in the area of the Shady Lane coming into Skerries from Dublin

Some of the changes we have noticed between this plan and the December’s plan.

	no access through Hillside park area different configuration of housing units
	only one 4-story block
	3 story units along stream (as per previous version)
	mention of housing mix including semi- & detached houses. Though it doesn't mention how many houses vis a vis appartment blocks.
	more detail on the distribution of 1-4 unit dwellings
	more detailed phasing
