Volunteers

When Skerries Community Centre opened in December 1982 there were over 80 volunteers who made themselves available for just a few hours every week or month. Without their time and help the Centre would have struggled to get off the groud and would certainly not be the success that it is today.

The Community Centre would like to thank all those individuals who gave their time during the last 21 years.

These numbers have gone down over the years and today the Centre has less than a dozen volunteers. Without their help the Centre would struggle to provide the full range of services that it does today, especially the weekly Bingo.

If you feel that you would like to get involved and could spare a couple o hours every week or even every month then please contact the Centre Manager, Graham Russell in the Community Centre. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
