As you may know, Fingal County Council has been leaving grass  unmown in green public spaces as a measure to improve biodiversity while saving resources. This "meadow" policy is working well in some locations but not in others where it has given rise to several problems. Following representations from a resident, the SCA recently emailed Kevin Halpenny, Parks Superindentent of FCC. In our email we suggest a way forward which should satisfy the needs of both residents and Council.
