The purpose of the SCA  website is to provide a communication link between  the residents of Skerries. The SCA is the umbrella organisation for many of the town's hard working groups,including the Board of Management of Skerries Community Centre, Skerries Tidy Towns Committee,  Skerries Town Twinning Association, Skerries Cycling Initiative, Skerrries Soundwaves Festival, Skerries RAS endstage Committee, Crann Padraig, Sustainable Skerries and Little Theatre Funding Committee.

Our vision is to safeguard all that we hold dear about our community, during these challenging times. We wish to protect and enhance the quality of life for those who live, work and visit our town and for future generations who will follow. In pursuit of this vision, we will encourage and support all those who share our goal. 

The SCA began as the Skerries Development and Community Association and was relaunched and renamed the Skerries Community Association Limited (SCA).
